Control of the working environment of the storage system

4.1.1 Cleaning

Danger. The battery system is equipped with high-voltage connectors. If cleaning is
necessary, it will be mandatory to isolate the system.
Before installing and powering up the system, dust and any processing scraps must
be removed to maintain a clean environment.
The system cannot be installed outdoors. The system cannot be installed in typical
desert geographical areas without adequate protection from sand.
After a long period of operation, it is necessary to check for moisture and/or dust.
In the case of a signifi cant presence of humidity and / or dust is found, it will be
necessary to stop the system and provide for the cleaning of the same, in particular
the ventilation channels.
Danger. The power connectors should be handled carefully due to the presence of
high DC voltage produced by the battery modules connected in series (the battery
module always has a residual voltage).

4.1.2 Temperature

Caution. Working temperature range of the zeroCO
optimum temperature: 10°C - 40°C.
There are no mandatory ventilation requirements for the battery module, but please
avoid installation in confi ned areas. Aeration should avoid conditions of high salinity,
humidity or temperature.
Caution. The zeroCO
direct sunlight. Install in a restricted area.
Outside the expected working temperature range, the system will activate the alarm
and temperature protection. The continuation of this condition will result in a further
reduction in the life of the battery system. If necessary, it will be advisable to install
a cooling or heating system to maintain the ranges indicated for the operating
temperature of the system.
4.1.3 Fire-fi ghting system
Danger. For safety purposes, the working area of the battery system must be
equipped with a fi re extinguishing system.
The normal condition of the fi re extinguishing system must be checked regularly.
It is advisable to contact the Fire Brigade Command for the local directives to which
the fi re-fi ghting system must comply.
Follow the instructions given on the fi re-fi ghting equipment and usable for these
products.
