ICON | NAME | FUNCTION |
![]() | POWER | When the OxyPure is plugged in, the Power button will be red, indicating that the unit is in Standby Mode. Press it once, the LED turns white and the unit activates, either with the last settings used, or in Manual Fan Speed Mode at Fan Speed 1 if the unit is being activated for the first time. |
![]() | FAN SPEED | FAN SPEED has two functions. First, it controls the fan speed from low to high. Simply press it until you reach the fan speed you want. Pressing it a 5th time returns you to Fan Speed 1. Second, to use the Pet Lock to keep your settings from being accidentally changed, press and hold FAN SPEED for 1 second. Repeat to unlock the settings again. |
![]() | AUTO/ECO | AUTO/ECO lets you use Auto Mode or Eco Mode (see below). Press it once for Auto Mode. Press and hold it for Eco Mode. To quit ECO Mode, press and hold AUTO/ECO for 1 second. The Power button will be lit Yellow when ECO is selected and AUTO will be lit green. |
![]() | TURBO | Press TURBO to run the OxyPure at the highest fan speed for up to 2 hours. Press it once for 30 minutes, twice for 1 hour, and 3 times for 2 hours. Pressing TURBO four times turns it off. |
![]() | SLEEP | With the unit set up and running the way you want it, press SLEEP to turn off the LED display on the control panel, which helps promote a good night's rest. When the Filter Replacement icon next to it appears yellow, you should consider changing the filter. When it turns red, you MUST change the filter. |
![]() | TIMER | Pressing TIMER lets you decide how long the OxyPure remains on, pressing the button once for each of the following: 1hr, 2hrs, 4hrs, 6hrs, 8hrs, and 12hrs. Pushing it a seventh time will turn off the Timer but not the unit. TIMER can be used with AUTO, FAN SPEED, and TURBO (see below). |
![]() | AIR QUALITY | The AIR QUALITY indicator turns on as soon as the unit is activated, displaying the current air quality with 4, color-coded Air Quality levels, going from green (clean) to orange, burgundy, and finally red (dirty). |
NOTICE
To reduce the risk of electric shock, DO NOT perform any service or maintenance on this appliance except for that which is contained in these instructions.
AUTO Mode runs the OxyPure automatically in accordance with the current air quality. To use it:
Note
Regardless of operating mode, pressing AUTO/ ECO once will turn the mode on, and pressing it again will turn the mode off.
You cannot use the FAN SPEED button while in AUTO Mode because pressing FAN SPEED in that case will take you out of AUTO Mode and return you to manual FAN SPEED Mode.
While in manual FAN SPEED Mode, if you press AUTO/ECO, the OxyPure will switch to AUTO Mode, and it will remain in AUTO Mode until changed again.
While the OxyPure is running in AUTO Mode, you can set the unit's operating time by pressing the TIMER button, setting a time limit of up to 12 hours.
You can use AUTO Mode and TURBO Mode together, running in TURBO Mode for a time and then switching to AUTO Mode, running at the lowest Fan Speed. See the following page for more information.
FAN SPEED LEVEL | FAN SPEED RPM | AIR QUALITY READING READING | PM SENSOR |
1 | 300 | GREEN | 0 ‒ 10 |
2 | 850 | ORANGE | 11 ‒ 30 |
3 | 1050 | BURGUNDY | 31 ‒ 50 |
4 | 1500 | RED | OVER 50 |
Like AUTO Mode, ECO Mode also responds to changes in Air Quality. However, because it does not run the fan continuously, ECO Mode is a real energy- and money-saver. To use it:
To quit ECO Mode, press and hold AUTO/ECO for 1 second.

The OxyPure measures the indoor Air Quality in your home using a PM2.5 benchmark for particle pollution. "PM" stands for "Particulate Matter", an airborne mixture of solid particles and liquid droplets. "2.5" is the particle size in microns. So, PM2.5 describes fine, easily inhalable particles like dust, pollen, mold, smoke, organic compounds and metals.
The sensors measure these particles in the air, display the results on the control panel, and activate and adjust the fan to eliminate any Air Quality issues.
Did you know...?
HEPA filters were developed in the 1940s to protect lab workers on the Manhattan Project from the very HEPA Filter Basics, LadyofHats, Public domain, via Wikimedia Commons dangerous radioactive dust their work was generating. They work like this: As air is pushed through them, any particles are trapped in the fine mesh of the filter and will not be rereleased into the air. These particles are as small as 0.3 microns, or 0.00011811 inches. That's a particle that is a little over 23 times smaller than a human hair and a True HEPA filter, l ike those in the OxyPure HEPA, will capture 99% of particles that size or larger!
AUTO MODE • ECO MODE
This is the basic operating mode for the OxyPure, the one that activates the first time you start the unit, allowing you to manually operate the Fan Speed without worrying about the automatic modes or settings. There're 4 Fan Speeds:
FAN SPEED LEVEL | FAN SPEED RPM |
1 | 300 |
2 | 850 |
3 | 1050 |
4 | 1500 |
Number of Presses | Fan Speed Level | Number of Bars on Panel |
1 | 1 | 1 |
2 | 2 | 2 |
3 | 3 | 3 |
4 | 4 | 4 |
5 | 1 | 1 |
Note
No matter what mode the OxyPure is in, the unit will always display the current Fan Speed Level.
The Pet Lock feature disables the control set, so that your pet, or child, or even you cannot accidentally change the OxyPure settings.
To Use Pet Lock:
To quickly clear the air, choose TURBO Mode to run the OxyPure at Fan Speed Level 4 (1,500 RPM, the highest setting) for 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours, after which the unit will run at Fan Speed 1 if no other buttons were pressed. To use it, simply press TURBO.
As mentioned previously, TURBO, AUTO, and ECO modes can work together to quickly clean, and then maintain, your indoor air quality. To use it, simply press TURBO one or more times (see above) and then press AUTO/ECO for AUTO Mode or press and hold AUTO/ECO for ECO Mode.
If TURBO is pressed while the unit is in another operating mode, such as AUTO or ECO, the unit will run in TURBO Mode and then return to the previous mode.
Note
TURBO and FAN SPEED do not work together. Pressing FAN SPEED while TURBO is activated will simply turn off TURBO Mode and set the Fan Speed Level to 1.
Ideal for light sleepers, SLEEP Mode turns off the LED lights on the control panel while keeping the fan active.
To turn off SLEEP Mode, press any button.
TTo alert you to the need to change your HEPA/ Carbon filters, there is an LED Filter Icon by the SLEEP Mode button. This icon will light up based on the amount of time the filters have been in use:
With the OxyPure plugged in, press and hold SLEEP until two short beeps sound and the Filter Icon is OFF.
Remember...
ALWAYS remove the plastic wrapping from new filters BEFORE using them in the OxyPure.
Failing to do so may damage the motor and other parts of the OxyPure and may void your warranty
You can run the OxyPure for a set period of time with the TIMER button.
There are 6 different timer selections: 1hr, 2hrs, 4hrs, 6hrs, 8hrs, 12hrs.
Number of Presses | Running Time | Number of Bars on Panel |
1 | 1 Hour | 1 |
2 | 2 Hours | 2 |
