Various conditions which contribute to proper location are as follows: 1) Locate as close as possible to water supply source. 2) Locate as close as possible to a drain. 3) Locate in correct relationship to other water conditioning equipment (Figure 1).

    SECTION 2: INSTALLATION Proper installation sequence of fi lter system is very important. Refer to the diagram following for your particular supply. To prevent back pressure from reducing the fl ow rate below minimum required for backwash, Drain Line MUST be sized according to run length and relative height. Be careful not to bend fl exible drain tubing sharply enough to cause “kinking” (if kinking occurs Drain Line MUST be replaced).
