The backhoe bucket teeth and blade must cut the ground like the blade of a knife. The depth of dig varies depending on the type of material.
If this machine is to be used to lift loads, for safety purposes, it is recommended that the machine is properly equipped. Contact your CASE CONSTRUCTION dealer and install a Hose Burst Check Valve on your machine’s boom cylinders. 6 - MAINTENANCE To adjust the belt tension proceed as follows: Remove the locking screw (1). Remove the locking screw (2). Use the adjusting screw (3) to move the alter- nator outwards until the belt tension is correct. Tighten the alternator mounting bolts (1) and (2).

6 - MAINTENANCE Coat the seal of the new filter with engine oil. Install a new filter. After the filter is screwed in and the filter gasket is touching the seal sur- face, use the special oil filter wrench to tighten the filter by 1 turn.

6 - MAINTENANCE Turn the priming pump handle (2) counter- clockwise. The handle (2) springs up due to the force of the spring inside the handle. Push the handle (2) to drain the fuel with air bubbles mixed in from the drain hose (3). This operation also assists the electromagnetic feed pump (4).
