    INTRODUCTION The PRO501HH radio is a mobile radio designed for use in the Citizens Band (CB) Radio Service. It will operate on any of the 40 AM frequencies authorized by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Your radio features a superheterodyne circuit with Phase Locked Loop techniques to assure precise frequency control.

    SETUP INSTALL Install the included rubber antenna onto the radio. CAUTION: Make sure the SWR is less than 2:1 before using the radio. An SWR higher than 2:1 can damage the transmitter. This radio transmitter 513C-UT422 has been approved by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada to operate with the antenna types listed below, with the maximum permissible gain indicated.

    Close battery cover. Charge the Radio NiMH rechargeable batteries are not fully charged when first installed in the radio. After installing the rechargeable NiMH batteries for the first time, place the radio in the charge adapter. Let it charge for about 12 hours or until the LED on the charge adapter turns green.
