15.2.2. CLEANING THE DOCUMENT FEEDER ROLLERS
Clean the rollers when the document or recording paper frequently misfeeds.
1.
Disconnect the power cord.
2.
Open the ADF cover (1) while holding the document cover (2).
3.
Clean the document feeder roller's surface (3) and separation rubber
(4) with a cloth moistened with isopropyl rubbing alcohol, while rotating
them.Let all parts dry thoroughly.
4.
Close the ADF cover.
5.
Re-connect the power cord.
