Using the on-screen keyboard

The on-screen keyboard is a digital keyboard that allows you to
enter text when your tablet is not connected to the keyboard
provided. The on-screen keyboard appears on your display ("on
screen") in tablet mode (see note in Section 11) as soon as you
tap an input field.
i
NOTE
If the on-screen keyboard does not appear automatically
when you tap an input field, you can call it up manually by
tapping the keyboard symbol on the right-hand side of the
task bar.
To write in the input bar, all you need to do is tap the letters you
require on the on-screen keyboard.
Use the "?123" and "~[<" keys to enter numbers and special characters.
To enter an alternative letter (for example, a letter with an accent
or German umlaut), press and hold a particular letter. The available
alternatives will now be displayed. Tap the alternative letters required.
