gravel drives or walks. Stay alert for hidden hazards or
when operating near public roads.
To reduce the risk of injury associated with contacting
moving parts, always turn off the product and remove
the battery pack. Make sure that all moving parts have
come to a complete stop:
after striking a foreign object to inspect the product
for damage
before cleaning or clearing a blockage
before leaving the product unattended
before
checking,
conducting
working on the product
if the product starts to vibrate abnormally (check
immediately). Vibration is generally a warning of
trouble.
Use the product across the face of slopes, never up
and down. Exercise extreme caution when changing
direction on slopes. Do not attempt to clear steep slopes.
Never operate the product without proper guards, plates,
or other safety protective devices in place.
Never direct the discharge towards people or areas
where property damage can occur. Keep children and
pets away.
Do not overload the product capacity by attempting to
clear snow at too fast a rate.
Never operate the product at high transport speeds
on slippery surfaces. Look behind and use care when
operating the product in reverse.
Disengage power to the collector or impeller when the
product is transported or not in use.
Never operate the product without good visibility or light.
Always be sure of your footing, and keep a firm hold on
the handles. Walk; never run.
Never place the product on any surface, except on
a hard and clean surface, when the motor is running.
Gravel, sand, and other debris can be picked up by
the air inlet and thrown at the operator or bystanders,
causing possible serious injuries.
Never operate the product near glass enclosures,
automobiles, windows, or doorways without proper
adjustment of the snow discharge angle.
If the product is dropped, suffers heavy impact, or begins
to vibrate abnormally, immediately turn off the product
and inspect for damage or identify the cause of the
vibration. Any damage should be properly repaired or
replaced by an authorised service centre.
The product can be operated and stored at temperatures
between -20 °C and 20 °C, as long as the battery pack
temperature is kept above 0 °C. Do not store the battery
pack below 0 °C. Below freezing temperatures can
reduce the performance and capacity of the battery
pack. If the battery pack is stored just above 0 °C, run
the product for at least 2 minutes in order to warm up the
battery pack before starting normal work. After the job is
done or the battery pack is drained, remove the battery
pack from the product and store it in a location where the
ambient temperature is between 0 °C to 20 °C.
Store the product in a location where the ambient
temperature is between 0°C and 40°C.
Some parts of the product can freeze under extreme
weather conditions. Do not operate the product with
frozen parts.
Before storing, allow the product to run for several
minutes after operation to remove snow from the auger.
ADDITIONAL BATTERY SAFETY WARNINGS
To reduce the risk of fire, personal injury, and product
damage due to a short circuit, never immerse the
product, battery pack, or charger in fluid or allow fluid
maintenance,
or
to flow inside them. Corrosive or conductive fluids, such
as seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach
or bleach-containing products, etc., can cause a short
circuit.
Charge the battery pack in a location where the ambient
temperature is between 10 °C and 38 °C.
Store the battery pack in a location where the ambient

OPERATION TIPS

The product does not operate if the safety trigger is
not released. There is 1 safety trigger to help prevent
accidental starting.
Take note of the direction of the wind before operating
the product. Discharge snow in the same direction as
the wind to prevent snow from being thrown back to the
operator.
There is a resettable fuse in the motor that protects the
product from overloading. When there is an overload,
the product turns off. Wait for 3 minutes to let the product
recover. Avoid overloading the product.

CLEARING A BLOCKAGE

Never put hands or feet into the front of the product or the
discharge chute to avoid serious injuries. Do not use hands
to clean the discharge chute.
1. Turn off the product, and remove the battery pack. Make
sure that all moving parts have come to a complete stop.
2. Remove the blockage using a wooden pole. Beware,
the impeller may move by itself during blockage removal
due to stored energy in the mechanism.
3. Turn the impeller assembly using the wooden pole.
4. Once the impeller can be turned by the wooden pole,
move to the rear of the product. It is normal for the
impeller mechanism to have stepped movement. Make
sure that it is safe to continue snow clearing.
