- Page 5 OPERATION This Pump should be plugged into an outlet fitted with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). 1. Make sure the Pump rests on a flat, level, and solid foundation. 2. Never suspend the pump from the power cord or discharge pipe. You may firmly attach a rope to the carry handle.
