To access the ION Science Support web page, click the Web Support button.

Upgrading the Software

If a newer version of the software is available, this is stated in the lower-left section of the page. To
install the newest version, click Install Upgrade.
The install will then take place. The old version of the software will automatically shut down and be
replaced by the new version, which will then start up automatically.
To view the release notes for the software, click View Release Notes.
To check whether an upgrade is available, click the Poll Website now button.

Other Facilities

It is recommended that this manual is viewed using Adobe Reader. The Adobe Web Site button
opens the Adobe Reader download page.

The Preferences Page

Click this button to open the Preferences page:
This page is used to set preferences for the CubPC software, such as actions taken when Cubs are
docked.
