"Pausing" time shift and contin-
uous recording programmes
You can pause any programme you are watch-
ing. For instance, if the phone rings when you are
watching a movie, you can pause the movie and
resume it after the call without missing anything.
The last scene that was frozen shall be dis-
played and time shift is recorded into the exter-
nal data media.
With the continuous recording feature, TV re-
cords the channel you are currently watching
as much as the time shift memory you create
on external data media. Thus, you can use the
rewind feature on the channel you are watching.

Recording Programmes
You can record a TV channel. Programmes are
recorded onto the external data media and the

archive is managed via television.
A memory of 44 MB up to 110 MB is required
for a 1 minute record.

Recording symbol, channel name, pro-
gramme and recording time.
– T his information will disappear after a
short while, the »REC« symbol and the
recording time appear in the lower left
corner of the screen.

Notes:
When recording is complete, it will auto-

matically be stored on the external data
media.
If you remove the external data media

during recording, then the recording is
cancelled automatically and no data is
recorded onto the external data media.
