  2. Remove all packaging before using this device. Please keep all packaging materialsout of reach of children and pets.

  4. Read all instructions carefully before attempting to operate this device. Improperusage could result in a reduction in efficacy.
  5. Please take care when extending and folding this unit to avoid damage throughrough handling.
  6. Ensure that all knobs, latches, and levers are in their fully locked positions beforeusing this unit with a camera.
  7. Do not attempt to move this unit while the camera is attached. First, take thecamera off, then move the unit before replacing the camera.
  8. Do not attempt to oil or lubricate any of the parts of the tripod. Doing so may causedamage and void the warranty.
  9. Do not store this unit in environments with high temperatures.
  10. Do not use during lightning storms.
  11. Do not sit or ride on the tripod or allow others to do so, as this may cause injuriesas well as damage to the product.
  12. Do not use harsh chemicals for cleaning this product; use only a mild detergentand soft cloth, and dry well before storing.

ABOUT THE KODAK 70" / 178 CM TRIPOD + MONOPOD

  • Unique 2-in-1 design delivers a tripod with an integrated monopod
  • Tripod + Monopod has fully adjustable 4-section legs, removable CenterColumn converts to a 5-section monopod, and 3-way swivel pan head is included.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW - Part 1

  1. Quick-release lever

  1. Adjustable Legs
    1. Unlatch the leg locks at the bottom of the leg.
    2. Pull out the sections of the leg until it reaches your desired length.
    3. Use the center brace locking ring to adjust the center portion of thetripod up and down to maximize stability.
    4. Use the built-in level to ensure the tripod is positioned properly.
    5. Re-latch the locks once you have the legs configured as you wish.
  2. Center Column/Removable Monopod
    1. Loosen the center column locking knob to adjust the height or removethe monopod for separate use.
    2. If adjusting tripod height, pull out until you reach your desired length(never pulling past the "Stop Here" mark).
    3. Tighten the center column locking knob to secure it in place.
    4. The removable monopod provides a lightweight, portable option for extra versatility.
    5. To adjust the central column/monopod:
      1. Hold the central column/monopod in one hand and grasp thebottom with the other.
      2. Turn the bottom a quarter-turn to the left and extend the section. The full column may extend all at once, in which case you can skip step iii and proceed to step iv.
      3. To increase the length, twist the extended section anotherquarter-turn to the left and pull the next section out. Repeat this process until the monopod is extended to the necessary height.
      4. Turn any extended section to the right to securely lock it intoposition. You can lock a section into place at any length; it does not need to be fully extended to lock.
      5. To collapse, reverse the process by turning each section to the left to unlock it, and then pushing in until the unit is fully collapsed.
  3. 3-Way Swivel Pan Head
    1. 1-Way - To adjust the vertical tilt of the camera mount plate:

      1. Loosen the vertical tilt handle.
      2. ii. Adjust to the desired angle.
      3. Tighten the vertical tilt handle.
    2. 2-Way - To adjust the horizontal pan of the camera mount plate:

      1. Loosen the horizontal pan knob.
      2. ii. Pan right and left to the desired position.
      3. Tighten the horizontal pan knob.
    3. 3-Way - To adjust the tilt of the camera mount platform:

      1. Loosen the camera mount platform tilt knob.
      2. ii. Adjust the platform to the desired angle.
      3. Tighten the camera mount platform tilt knob.
  4. Mounting a Camera
    1. Pull the quick-release lever on the side of the head to release the plate.
    2. Align the screw adapter with the corresponding threading on your camera.
    3. Holding the camera in one hand, rotate the plate to the right until it issecurely attached to the camera.
    4. Place the camera mount plate back into position.
    5. Push the quick-release lever back into the locked position.
    6. To remove your camera:
      1. Remove the quick-release plate.
      2. Unscrew the plate from the camera.
  5. Hook
    1. To increase the tripod's stability, you can hang a sandbag or similar weightfrom the hook.
  6. Mounting a Smartphone
    1. Align the screw adapter with the corresponding threading on thesmartphone adapter.
    2. Holding the smartphone adapter in one hand, turn the thumb wheelto the right until it is securely attached to the adapter.

    3. You may now pull up on the smartphone adapter clamp and insert yoursmartphone in landscape mode.

    4. To remove the smartphone adapter, hold it in one hand and turn thethumb wheel to the left until it is no longer attached.
