boltfor correcttorque.
BELT CARE
1. Removetwo shoulderscrewssecuringfront drivecoverto mower
deck.See Figure18.Pressinwardon sides of frontdrive cover
and releasetabs that secureit to the heightadjusterbrackets.
Removedrive coverfrom mower.
2. Loosenscrewholdingbelttension springto transmission.See
Figure18 inset.Do notremovescrewcompletely.As you loosen
it, tensionon the beltwill be released.
3. Tip moweron its sidewith the air filter up to accessbeltfrom
undersideof mowerand removeblade as describedin the
previoussection. Referto Figure17.
4. Pressinwardon tab on the enginebaffle to releaseit from the
baffle bracket.See Figure19.
5. Slide beltoff of enginepulleyand threadthroughtheopeningin
thedeck. See Figure20.
