SYSTEM MESSAGE ADVISORIES

This section provides information regarding Perspective message advisories that may be displayed by
NOTE:
the system. Knowledge of the aircraft, systems, flight conditions, and other existing operational priorities
must be considered when responding to a message.
This section describes various Perspective System message advisories. Certain messages are issued due to an
LRU or LRU function fault. Such messages are normally accompanied by a corresponding red 'X' annunciation
as shown previously in the Perspective System Annunciations section.
Message
ABORT APR – Loss of GPS navigation.
Abort approach.
ADC1 ALT EC – ADC1 altitude error
correction is unavailable.
ADC2 ALT EC – ADC2 altitude error
correction is unavailable.
ADC1 AS EC – ADC1 airspeed error
correction is unavailable.
ADC2 AS EC – ADC2 airspeed error
correction is unavailable.
AHRS1 TAS – AHRS1 not receiving
valid airspeed.
AHRS2 TAS – AHRS2 not receiving
valid airspeed.
AHRS1 GPS – AHRS1 using backup
GPS source.
AHRS2 GPS – AHRS2 using backup
GPS source.
AHRS1 GPS – AHRS1 not receiving
any GPS information.
AHRS2 GPS – AHRS2 not receiving
any GPS information.
AHRS1 GPS – AHRS1 not receiving
backup GPS information.
AHRS2 GPS – AHRS2 not receiving
backup GPS information.
AHRS1 GPS – AHRS1 operating
exclusively in no-GPS mode.
AHRS2 GPS – AHRS2 operating
exclusively in no-GPS mode.
AHRS MAG DB – AHRS magnetic
model database version mismatch.

Abort approach due to loss of GPS navigation.
GDC1 or GDC2 is reporting that the altitude error correction is unavailable.
GDC1 or GDC2 is reporting that the airspeed error correction is unavailable.
The #1 AHRS is not receiving true airspeed from the air data computer. The AHRS
relies on GPS information to augment the lack of airspeed. The Perspective system
should be serviced.
The #2 AHRS is not receiving true airspeed from the air data computer. The AHRS
relies on GPS information to augment the lack of airspeed. The Perspective system
should be serviced.
The #1 AHRS is using the backup GPS path. Primary GPS path has failed. The
Perspective system should be serviced when possible.
The #2 AHRS is using the backup GPS path. Primary GPS path has failed. The
Perspective system should be serviced when possible.
The #1 AHRS is not receiving any or any useful GPS information. Check AFMS
limitations. The Perspective system should be serviced.
The #2 AHRS is not receiving any or any useful GPS information. Check AFMS
limitations. The Perspective system should be serviced.
The #1 AHRS is not receiving backup GPS information. The Perspective system should
be serviced.
The #2 AHRS is not receiving backup GPS information. The Perspective system should
be serviced.
The #1 AHRS is operating exclusively in no-GPS mode. The Perspective system should
be serviced.
The #2 AHRS is operating exclusively in no-GPS mode. The Perspective system should
be serviced.
The #1 AHRS earth magnetic field model is out of date. Update magnetic field model
when practical.
