USB­RECORDING
Time­shift­–­pausing­
programmes
You can pause the programme you are watch-
ing. This is a useful function, for example if the
telephone rings while you are watching a film
and you do not want to miss anything.
A freeze-frame display of the last scene appears
on the screen and the programme is recorded
in the time shift memory of the external data me-
dium.
In time shift mode you can record a maximum of
10 minutes of the current programme.
1 Press »
« during the broadcast.

– T he television switches to the freeze-frame
and the time delay is displayed, e.g.
»– 00:00:01«.
2 To resume the broadcast, press »
– T he system continues recording the broad-
cast while you are watching it.
Note:
The following functions are possible when in

time shift mode:
– Fast rewind, press »
pending on the desired speed (the picture
is frozen while rewinding);
– Fast forward, press »
pending on the desired speed;
– Select pause by pressing »

« to end the time shift function.

– The message »Live Broadcast« appears.
– T he scenes in the time shift memory are de-
leted.

Recording

You can record programmes. The data for these
programmes is recorded on an external data
medium and this archive is administered via the
television set.
The following approximate values apply to the
recording:
Recording time for high-definition programmes
(HD) is 8 minutes with 1 GB of memory, for stan-
dard programmes it is 28 minutes.
While recording, you can watch another pro-
gramme from the archive.
You cannot change presets.
Recording­a­programme­
immediately
1 Select the programme with »1...0« or »P+«,
»P–« and press » «.
– I nformation on the recording is displayed:
the recording symbol, the channel name,
the programme, the recording time and the
available memory space.
– A fter a short time this information disap-
pears; only the recording symbol flashes
on the bottom right of the screen and the
recording time is displayed.
2 To end the recording, press »
Notes:
When you finished the recording, it is

automatically stored into external media.
You can see the media with »Recorded List«

by pressing »
If external media unplugged while record-

ing, the remaining media recording process
is cancelled automatically and it is not saved
into external media.
