  • Page 8 SWITCH See Figure 2. To tum your drill ON, depress the switch tdgger. To tum it OFF, release the switch trigger. CENTERPOSmON (LOCK) SELECTOR SWITCHTRIGGER VARIABLE SPEED This tool has a variable speed switch that delivers higher speed and torque with increased trigger pressure.

    TO INSTALL BATTERYPACK • Lock switch trigger on your drill by placing the direction of rotation selector in center position. See Figure 3. • Place battery pack in your drill. Align raised rib inside drill with groove on battery pack. See Figure 4.

When ddlling hard smooth surfaces use a center punch to mark desired hole location.
  • Page 13 Tighten the chuck screw. Note: The chuck screw has left hand threads. WARNING: When servicing, use only identical Craftsman replacement pads. Use of any other part may create a hazard or cause product damage. Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic pads.
