Make sure all of your TV equipment is
turned off, including unplugging your
SVR Recorder.
Most satellite set-top boxes have S-Video
out or Composite out jacks. Check the
back of your satellite set-top box
carefully; if there are jacks other than RF
Out, follow the steps in Example 4 on
page 22.
If you have a cable set-top box that you
are only using because your TV and VCR
are not cable-ready, and you don't watch
premium channels, then you don't need
your cable set-top box any more. The
SVR Recorder is cable-ready. Follow
Example 2 on page 18.
