Open cutting fluid control valve (see
Figure 26).

Raise headstock, then close feed on/off valve
to lock headstock in place (see Figure 27).

5.
Press Emergency Stop button in.
6.
Connect machine to power by inserting power
cord plug into a matching receptacle.
7.
Twist Emergency Stop button clockwise until
it springs out (see Figure 28). This resets the
switch so the machine can start.

8.
Press ON button to turn machine ON (see
Figure 29). Verify motor starts up and runs
smoothly without any unusual problems or
noises.

9.
Use pump ON/OFF switch (see Figure 30)
to turn coolant pump ON. Cutting fluid should
flow through blade guides and onto blade.
