    Charging Procedures: In addition to conventional charging procedures, the following requirements shall be followed. WARNING: Ensure that contamination of different refrigerants does not occur when using charging equipment. Hoses or lines shall be as short as possible to minimize the amount of refrigerant contained in them. WARNING: Cylinders shall be kept in an appropriate position according to the instructions.

    Defrost The Silver King counter-top drop-in display merchandiser is a manual defrost unit. The unit should be defrosted whenever the walls accumulate a frost layer that is 1/4 inch thick. To defrost the unit, either move the power switch to the ‘off’ position or disconnect the Power Cord from the electrical receptacle, and remove the Lid Assembly.
