    2.2. Intended use The FloorControl RT05 programmable room thermostat is designed to control (on/off) a heating or cooling device, such as a gas or electric boiler. The RT05 room thermostat may be connected to the FloorControl WB01 D-8 underfloor heating wiring box to control the floor heating system.

When the room temperature drops below the programmed value, the thermostat opens the contact, sending a signal to the heating device or the wiring box of the FloorControl underfloor heating control system to increase it.

To control other heating devices, we recommend using the battery version of FloorControl RT05 programmable thermostat (see section 3.4). Such a connection should be made in accordance with the manual of the heater you want to control.
