IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The safety of electrical appliances from FIRST Austria complies with the
recognized technical directives and legal regulations for safety. Nevertheless,
you and the other users of the appliance should observe the following:
• Please read these instructions carefully before using this appliance for the
first time and keep them for further reference.
• This product has not been designed for any other uses than those specified
in this manual.
• No open flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on or near
the unit.
• Do not leave the unit in a place near a heat source such as a radiator or air
duct, or in a location exposed to direct sunlight, excessive dust, mechanical
vibration, or shock.
• The appliance must not be exposed to dripping or splashing water. Do not
place any water containers (such as vases) next to or on top of the appliance.
• To protect from electrical hazard, do not immerse this appliance or cordset
in any liquids.
• The ventilation openings must be kept free.
• Be sure to observe the correct polarity when installing the battery.
• Batteries may explode if handled incorrectly. Do not recharge, disassemble
or dispose of it in fire.
• Do not expose batteries to excessive heat such as direct sunlight, fire or the
like.
• Dispose of used batteries promptly and in accordance with local
environmental laws and guidelines. Keep away from children. Should the
battery be swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• We are excluded of liability for all damages that may arise if the appliance
is used for purposes other than originally intended or if it is used
inappropriately.
• Repairs and other work undertaken on the unit must only be done by
authorised specialist personnel!

PREPARATION BEFORE USE
1. Open the battery compartment cover [B7] of the weather station, insert 2x
AA batteries into the battery slot and close the battery cover again. When
the batteries are inserted, the weather station will beep and then start
searching for the wireless outdoor sensor.
2. Open the Wireless Outdoor Sensor battery compartment cover, insert 2x
AA batteries into the battery slot [C7] and close the battery cover again. The
wireless outdoor sensor starts transmitting immediately after that.
Note: If the weather station failed to receive a transmission signal from the
outdoor sensor, "- -" will be displayed for outdoor temperature and humidity
on the screen. In this case press and hold the [-] button for 3 seconds to force
a new search. The outdoor RF icon [A7] flashes during search. To speed up the
connecting process, you can press the TX button [C5] on the outdoor sensor to
force a transmission signal.
The Weather Stations can receive up to 3 channels of wireless sensors. The
default channel displayed by the weather station is channel 1. If the wireless
sensor is set to channel 2 or 3, you need to press the [-] button to switch to
channel 2 or 3.
OPERATION
SETTING TIME & DATE
Press and hold the [SET/MODE] button for 2 seconds, to enter the setup mode.
You can adjust the following flashing values on the display step by step using
the [+]/[-] buttons and confirm by pressing the [SET/MODE] button again.
• Temperature unit (°C/°F)
• Barometric pressure unit (hPa/mb, inHg or mmHg)
• 12 Hr/24 Hr
• Hour
