This section helps you resolve problems you may encounter while setting up or using the projector.

Over-Temperature Protection
If the temperature inside the projector rises too high, the over-temperature protector will automatically turn off the lamp
with the STATUS indicator blinking (2-cycle On and Off.)
Should this happen, do the following:
• Unplug the power cord after the cooling fans stop.
• Move the projector to a cooler location if the room where you are presenting is particularly too warm.
• Clean the ventilation holes if they are clogged with dust.
• Wait about 60 minutes until the inside of the projector becomes cool enough.
Projector Condition
The power cord is unplugged.
The projector is getting ready to turn on.
Off Timer is enabled.
The projector is turned on.
[NORMAL] is selected for [STANDBY MODE]
[POWER-SAVING] is selected for [STANDBY
MODE]
Projector Condition
Normal or Standby ([POWER-SAVING] for
[STANDBY MODE])
Lamp cover error or lamp housing error
Temperature error
Fan error
Lamp error
Re-firing the lamp (The projector is cooling
down.)
Standby ([NORMAL] for [STANDBY MODE])
Cabinet button is locked
CONTROL ID error
Projector Condition
Normal
Lamp has reached its end of life. Lamp replace-
ment message will be displayed.
Lamp has been used beyond its limit. The projec-
tor will not turn on until the lamp is replaced.
[ECO MODE] is set to [ON]

Wait for a moment.
Note
Replace the lamp cover or lamp housing cor-
rectly.
The projector is overheated. Move the projector to
a cooler location.
Fans will not work correctly.
Lamp fails to light. Wait a full minute and then
turn on again.
The projector is re-firing.
Wait for a moment.
You have pressed cabinet button when Cabinet
Button is locked.
Remote control ID and projector ID are not
matched.
