Problem/
Possible cause/remedy
question
There is
inhalation
solution
residue in
the mesh
atomiser
(2).
What
should be
taken into
account
when us-
ing the
device
with in-
fants and
children?
Inhalation
using the
mask
takes
longer.
This is normal and is due to technical reasons.
Stop the inhalation as soon as the atomiser
starts to make a notably different sound or the
device switches off automatically due to a lack
of inhalant.
1. On infants, the mask should cover the nose
and mouth to ensure effective inhalation.
2. On children, the mask should also cover both
the nose and mouth. It is not very useful to
carry out nebulisation next to someone who
is sleeping, as in this case not enough of the
medication will reach the lungs.
Note: Inhalation should only be carried out un-
der the supervision of an adult and with their as-
sistance and the child should not be left alone.
This is due to technical reasons. You breathe
less medication per breath through the holes of
the mask than via the mouthpiece. The aerosol
is mixed with ambient air via the holes.
