Changing the Engine Oil and Oil
Filter
Service Interval: Every 100 hours or yearly,
whichever comes first—Change the
engine oil and oil filter (more often
in dirty or dusty conditions).
1. Park the machine on a level surface to ensure
that the oil drains completely.
2. Park the machine on a level surface, disengage
the blade-control switch, and move the
motion-control levers outward to the P
position.
3. Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait
for all moving parts to stop before leaving the
operating position.
4. Drain the oil from the engine

5. Change the engine-oil filter
Note:
the engine and then turn the filter an extra 3/4
turn.
