2.4. Setting up LAN drivers

Flow Control

It is necessary to set the Flow Control parameter of the network adapter matching to the
connected network equipment (switching hub etc.).
Please set Flow Control parameter by the following procedures.
1.
Open Device Manager.
2.
Expand Network adapters, and then double-click the network adapter you want to set. The
properties of the network adapter will be displayed.
3.
Open Advanced tab and click Flow Control to show Value.
4.
The value can be configures by the down-arrow button.
5.
Click OK in the network adapter properties dialog box.
Sign in the system by administrator account for execute the operation below.
After changing parameters of the LAN driver, restart the system.
N8104-213/215/217/219
specification.Switching hubs and LAN ports of 100BASE-T, which have
mismatched specifications, are not supported as destinations. Use the
1000BASE-T/10GBASE-T switching hub and LAN port to which the
specifications match.
For Speed & Duplex settings, be sure to use Auto Negotiation.
"1.0 Gbps Full Duplex" and "10 Gbps Full Duplex" are not supported.
The settings of Flow Control of the network adapter should match those of the
destination device.
Note
For example, if Flow Control in the destination device is set as Enabled, that in the
network adapter should be set as Enabled.
