5.2. BAR AND CHAIN INSTALLATION
ATTENTION! Do not forget to always wear safety
gloves when handling the chain to avoid accidentally
cutting yourself. The mower chain has very sharp
teeth.
ATTENTION! : Never touch, adjust or sharpen the
chain while the engine is running. Unplug the machine
before handling the chain.
Never start the machine before installing chain,
bar, chain cover and chain cover nut.
Without these pieces there may be a risk of personal
injury.
The chain bar and chain are supplied separately. To
install them follow the following steps:
1. Unscrew the nut from the chain cover (1).
2. Remove the chain cover (2).
3. Place the chain on the bar.
Before mounting the guide bar with the chain, check
the cutting direction of the teeth. The direction of
rotation It is marked on the machine, under the
attack pinion (A).
