Code

The code prevents the washing ma-
chine being used without your know-
ledge.
Options
Activate
If you activate the code, you have to
enter a code after switching the
washing machine on. Otherwise it
cannot be operated.
The factory default code is 125.
Change
If wished, you can set a different
three-digit code.
Do not forget the code you have
set.
If you forget the code, only Miele
Technical Service can unlock the
washing machine.
Make a note of your new code.
Deactivate
The washing machine is to be oper-
ated again without entering a code.
This only appears if the code had
been activated previously.

Units

The temperature can be displayed as
degrees Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).
The factory setting is °C/Celsius.

Brightness

You can set the brightness of the dis-
play, the sensor controls, and the
dimmed sensor controls.
Options
Display
Controls the brightness of the dis-
play.

Buttons active
Controls the brightness of the activ-
ated sensor controls.
–        (dark)
–        (factory setting)
–        (light)
Buttons inactive
Controls the brightness of the sensor
controls that can be activated.
–        (dark)
–        (factory setting)
–        (light)
Tip: Ensure that there is a discernible
difference in brightness between the
activated and dimmed sensor controls.
This makes it easier to operate the ma-
chine.
