OPERATION WITH A CONNECTED COOKER HOOD

Making the connection between hob and cooker hood

The connection to a cooker hood is not active by default. First the connection to the cooker
hood must be activated.
First put the extractor hood in pairing mode, see the cooker hood manual for this.
Follow the steps in the 'User menu' chapter to activate the connection to the cooker
hood (menu code U9).
Check our website for the full range of cooker hoods that can be connected to your hob.

The extraction settings of the cooker hood

The hob can control the extraction of the cooker hood in 3 different ways: manually, semi-
automatically, and fully automatically. When the hob is switched on, the last setting selected
(before the hob was switched off) is active.
When the hob is switched on, the display shows the extraction setting (set to semi-
automatic as standard).
Manual
This setting is for the user who wants to maintain full control over the cooker hood, without the
extraction switching on automatically.
Semi-automatic
This setting is for the user who is used to using the cooker hood at a fixed extraction level.
The extraction starts automatically at the set extraction level as soon as a cooking zone is
active. When the hob is switched off, the extraction continues for 10 minutes and then stops
automatically.
