Warning on telephone use while driving
In France, according to article R412 -6-1 of the Highway Code, the use
of a hand-held telephone by the driver of a vehicle is prohibited when
driving.
The penalties for non-compliance with this article are a fine and the
loss of points from the driving licence.
It is also forbi d den to wear any system such as headphones, pedestrian kits,
earphones or helmets, which may limit the attention and hearing of drivers.
