Warning on telephone use while driving
In France, according to article R412-6-1 of the Highway Code, the use
of a hand-held telephone by the driver of a vehicle is prohibited when
driving.
The penalties for non-compliance with this article are a fine and the
loss of points from the driving licence.
It is also forbidden to wear any system such as headphones, pedestrian kits,
earphones or helmets, which may limit the attention and hearing of drivers.
