12. MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE (recommendations)

Check all connections for leaks
Check that the safety valve on the cold water
supply is functioning correctly.
Check that all components are intact and func-
tioning as intended
Clean all dirt filters/strainers in the substation
Check that any electrical cables are in ser-
viceable condition and that it is possible to
disconnect the electrical power supply to the
Check the pipes and exchanger for signs of
corrosion
Check that the insulation cover is intact
Check that the temperature regulators are set
in accordance
Check the functions of all shut-off valves

If you identify a leak, replace the gaskets and retighten
the pipe connections
Check the functionality by turning the lever on the safety
valves
In the event of irregularities, lack of functionality or
visible faults and defects in a component, replace the
component in question
Replace any filters that are not intact
Visual check. Check whether it is possible to disconnect
the current to the substation.

Make sure that the insulation cover encloses the substa-
tion tightly
Follow the instructions in the present manual
Check that the ball valves open and close as they should
