Attaching The Seat
If the seat for your tractor was not attached at the factory, follow
the instructions below to attach it.
NOTE: For shipping reasons, seats are either fastened to the
tractor seat's pivot bracket with a plastic tie, or mounted
backward to the pivot bracket. In either case, free the seat from
its shipping position. Follow the applicable instructions below.
1.
Remove the two shoulder screws and lock nuts
the seat pan).
2.
Carefully rotate the seat assembly around and position the
pivot location of the seat pan with the seat pivot bracket
mounted on the tractor.
Note: Be careful not to pull on the wiring harness as you
rotate the seat. Pulling on this harness may cause the safety
switch to become detached. If this happens, plug the
safety switch back into the switch found in the bottom of
the seat.
3.
Secure the seat pan using the two shoulder bolts removed in
step 1, and secure with the flange lock nuts also previously
removed. See Fig. 3-4. Make sure that the seats pivots freely.

4.
To adjust the position of the seat, loosen the adjustment
knob (see Fig. 3-4) on the bottom of the seat until the
adjustment tab clears the adjustment cut-outs. Slide
the seat forward or backward as desired. Retighten the
adjustment knob.
Note: Take this opportunity to make sure that the wiring harness
routed to the bottom of the seat is still securely inserted into the
seat safety switch.
