5: Customizing SlingPlayer Mobile

You can customize your SlingPlayer to suit your preferences. You can add Favourites so that you can
access channels and controls more quickly. You can also adjust other options to customize your
viewing experience.

Favourites

If you have certain channels that you frequently watch, or certain remote functions you frequently
use, you can easily add them as Favourites. This saves you time and effort in accessing them.
SlingPlayer Mobile allows you to have a separate group of Favourites for every input/device. This
means, for your DVD, you can have a set of Favourites and another set for your cable TV. SlingPlayer
Mobile knows what you are watching and intelligently displays the Favourites of that device.

Adding/Editing Remote Function Favourites

You can add 16 different Favourites (remote function and channel
combined) for each connected device.
1. While streaming, select Options > Edit Favourites.
Alternatively, press # to display the Favourites Bar and navigate to
an empty icon. Press and hold the centre navigation key.
The Favourites Editor screen opens.
2. Use the up/down navigator keys to select a Favourite Icon.
3. Select Options > Edit Favourites > Remote Functions.
The Edit Favourites screen opens.
4. Then use up/down navigator keys to select a remote function.
5. Select Select.

Adding/Editing Channel Favourites

You can add 16 different Favourites (remote function and channel
combined) for each connected device.
1. While streaming, select Options > Edit Favourites.
Alternatively, press # to display the Favourites Bar and navigate to
an empty icon. Press and hold the centre navigation key.
The Favourites Editor screen opens.
2. Use the up/down navigator keys to select a Favourite Icon.
3. Select Options > Edit Favourites > Channels with Logos/
Custom Channels.
• Channels with Logos. If you want the channel logo to appear on
the Favourites Bar.
a. Use the navigator keys to select the channel name/logo.
b. Enter the channel number.
