Switching on your phone
for the first time
Time / date
When using the phone for the first
time, set the clock so that it displays
the correct time. You will not have to
make this setting again.
Press this key to start set-

ting the date and/or time.
Press to select the date

from a calendar.
First enter the date

(day/month/year), then
the time (24 hours, in-
cluding seconds).
§Save§ Press this key to confirm
the setting.
Time zones

Select the time zone.
Select the desired time

Auto time
on/off.
Copying SIM addresses
The first time you insert your
SIM card, the entries on it can be
copied to your phone memory.
Please do not interrupt this procedure.
During this time, do not accept incom-
ing calls. Follow the instructions in
the display.
You can also copy data from the
SIM card at a later time (please see
page 23).
