    Getting started Inserting SIM card/ battery The service provider supplies you with a SIM card on which all the important data for your line is stored. If the SIM card has been delivered in credit-card size, snap the smaller segment out and remove any rough edges.

    You can transmit and receive very long messages (up to 760 char- acters) on your phone. They are automatically composed of several "normal" SMS messages (note higher charges). The maximum possible length of an SMS is reduced if you use special letters from some lan- guages.
