7.4 Setting the Long Distance Access
Prefix
If you need to dial out a prefix before a telephone
number from the Caller ID call list, you have to set
the Long Distance Prefix.
Enter setting menu
SET
3 X 'LONG DIST ACCESS'
'(- - - - - -)' (unselected)
SET
Select first digit '(0 - - - - -)'
To confirm and select next digit
SET
Repeat the previous 2 steps for the other digits
(max. 6 digits).
To confirm after the last selected digit
SET
and go to 'DATE/TIME'
To dial out the prefix before the selected number
out of the call list of the call list, press the redial
button twice.

Setting the Date and Time

When you have a subscription to the Caller ID
service and your telephone provider sends the
date and time together with the telephone
number, the phone's clock will be set automatical-
ly. The year must always be set manually.
Enter setting menu
SET
4 X 'DATE/TIME'
The year is blinking '2003'
SET
Select the year
To confirm and select the hour.
SET
Repeat the previous 2 steps to set the hour,
minutes, day and month
To confirm after setting the month
SET
and go to 'CONTRAST ADJUST'

Ringer volume

The ring volume can be adjusted by means of the
Ring Volume switch (18) at the bottom of the
phone (Hi-, Lo-).

Tone/Pulse setting

The dial mode can be selected by the Pulse/Tone
switch (20) on the back of the phone

Making a phone call

Enter the telephone number
Press the delete button briefly to
delete a wrongly entered number.
To phone number will be dialled
automatically in hands free
Press the volume button to change
the speaker volume
OR
Pick up the handset.
Enter the telephone number
The call duration timer is shown on the 2e line of
the display [mm:ss].
