DANGER!
v Physical injury through prestressed springs.
The Hose Box may not be opened.
When placing the hose box on the holder, make sure that it stands securely and
carries the load as close to the body as possible.
Keep your back straight. Do not lift with your upper body bent forward or with
a hollow back.
Keep children away from the product.
Keep any third parties away from the product while it is in use.
Do not place any additional load on the wall bracket.
Choose a mounting location that prevents water from entering the building in the
event of a leak.
Depressurise the hose when not in use.
We recommend a mounting location that is protected against direct sunlight so
that the unit and hose do not overheat.
DANGER! Risk of suffocation!
Small parts can be easily swallowed. There is also a risk that the poly-
bag can suffocate toddlers. Keep toddlers away when you assemble the
product.
Risk of scalding if hose is exposed to direct sunlight for a long period.
For safety reasons, the hose may only be replaced by GARDENA Service.

2. ASSEMBLY
To assemble the wall bracket [ Fig.
CAUTION!
The supplied wall plugs are suitable for cement walls (plaster up
to 1 cm). For other wall types, special wall plugs must be used.
The accompanying wall bracket is designed to be fitted on a level
surface. Fitting on uneven surfaces could damage the wall bracket.
1. Mark the 3 boreholes.
2. Drill the 3 boreholes in the wall with an 8 mm drill bit.
3. Insert the 3 dowels in the 3 holes.
4. Screw the wall bracket to the wall with the 3 screws
(spanner size 10 mm) and the 3 washers.
5. Place the hose box on the wall bracket.
6. Slide the safety tray onto the wall bracket as far as it will go. Make sure that
the hose box is not yet secured before attaching the safety tray and could fall
down.
7. Secure the hose box with the 2 locking screws.
8. Connect the connecting hose to the tap.

3. OPERATION

Do not use a damaged product.
v Check the product for damage before rolling up and unwinding.
Unwind:
v Pull out the hose to the desired length.
The hose can be locked at intervals of approximately 25 – 45 cm.
Roll up:
v With the nozzle, return to the Hose Box and release the lock through a short
tug on the hose.
In case of hose blockage, pull the hose out completely and let it retract again.
Through a special braking technique, the hose rolls up securely and evenly on its
own. The locking mechanism clicks during unwinding and roll-up.
4. STORAGE
To put into storage:
The product must be stored away from children.
v Empty the hose completely before storing the hose box.
The Wall-Mounted Hose Box can remain outside in a depressurised state
throughout the winter months.
Disposal:
v Empty the hose completely before disposing of the hose box.
