THIS MACHINE. Before operating the machine (including any attachments), renter agrees to fully read, understand, and
follow all safety warnings and instructions set forth below, which can be found on Rug Doctor's website
(www.rugdoctor.com).
USING THE MACHINE
Read all instructions carefully before using this machine. Check that the electrical switch is switched off (in position 0) and check

that the filters are installed in the machine.
Connect the suction hose into the suction inlet at the machine by pushing the hose forward until it fits firmly in place at the

inlet.

Connect the curved hand tube with the suction hose, twist the tool to ensure it is properly fitted.

Connect the extension tubes (individually) with the hose handle, twist the tubes to ensure they are properly fitted.
Attach suitable nozzle/tool to the extension tube. Choose tool depending on what type of material that is to be picked-up.
Extension Tubes are used to provide you with more reach and/or to use while standing.

Crevice Tool: Great for small spaces
Floor Tool: Ideal for larger areas
Upholstery Tool: Great for sofa, stairs, chairs and more

Connect the power cord plug into a proper electrical outlet.
Put the power switch into POSITION I (power on) in order to start the motor.

Turn I: Activate the Machine (Power On)
Turn 0: Stop the Machine (Power Off)
Machine is equipped with a semi-automatic filter cleaning system, Push & Clean. The filter cleaning system should be actuated

before you begin work and when suction performance is no longer sufficient. Regular use of the filter cleaning feature maintains
suction performance and increases the lifetime of the filter.
If suction performance drops:
1. Turn power switch to position "I" (Power On).
2. Close the nozzle or suction hose opening with the palm of your hand.

3. Press and release filter cleaning button five times to start filter cleaning. The resulting stream of air removes dust from the
slats of the filter elements.

When this occurs, switch off the machine. Disconnect the machine from the electrical outlet and empty the container. CAUTION: Never pick up liquids or dry materials without the water level limit system and filter in place.

Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts. Do not put any objects into openings or use with opening blocked. Keep openings free of dust, lint, hair, and anything else that could reduce the flow of air.
