Prerequisite

For access, remove the following parts in order, if any:
• "Top cover" on page 53
• "PCIe card and PCIe converter" on page 58
• "Thunderbolt 4 card module" on page 62
• "Wi-Fi card and Wi-Fi card shield" on page 68
• "Front Wi-Fi antenna" on page 69

PCH heat sink

Prerequisite

The PCH heat sink might be very hot. Before you open the top cover, turn off the computer and wait several
minutes until the computer is cool.
For access, remove the following parts in order:
• "Top Cover" on page 53
• "Internal Speaker" on page 55
• "System fan" on page 56
• "Heat sink" on page 57
