    Side Panel Buttons The buttons on the side panel control your TV’s basic features, including the on-screen menu system. To use the more advanced features, you must use the remote control. Side Panel Jacks Use the side panel jacks to connect a component that is used only occasionally (a camcorder or video game, for example) .

If you notice a performance degradation while using the remote, the batteries may need to be replaced. Make sure you replace both batteries and do not mix old and new batteries in the remote control.

    Connections Connecting VHF and UHF Antennas If you do not have a cable system, you will need to connect an antenna to your TV. Antennas with 300-ohm Flat Twin Leads If your antenna looks like this: Place the wires from the twin leads under the screws on the 300-75 ohm adapter (included).

Once the channels are memorized, you can use the CH ▲ and CH ▼ buttons to scan through the available channels. Selecting the Broadcast Source Before memorizing available channels, you must select what broadcast source your TV is connected to either an antenna or a cable system.
