6 Stop Running, Dismantle, Discard Inverter

This chapter introduces the procedure for stop running, dismantling, discarding the inverter.

6.1 Stop Running

Normally, the inverter don't need to be shut down, but when maintenance is needed, it is necessary to
shut down the inverter.
Please disconnect the AC and DC connection of inverter according to following procedure. Failing to
comply with following procedure may result in human injure or device damage.
Step 1 Disconnect the external AC breaker and set warning marks at disconnected site to avoid improperly
switching and even cause accident.
Step 2 Switch OFF the DC switches on the inverter.
Step 3 Wait for 30min at least, ensure that the internal capacitors have discharged completely.
Step 4 Loosen the locked part of PV string connector by MC4 wrench, take down the PV string connectors.
Step 5 Dismantle the AC wiring box, measure the wires and ensure that there is no electricity in the AC wires,
and then dismantle the AC wires and communication wires.
Step 6 Install waterproof plug MC4 and AC waterproof box.

6.2 Dismantle the Inverter

After the connection among inverter and grid and PV string is completely disconnected and after
waiting for 30min at least, ensure that the internal capacitors have discharged completely, and then the
inverter can be dismantled.
Step 1 Disconnect all connection successively in reversed procedure of 3.6 Electrical Connection.
