Configurable connectors

You can customize or configure the following connectors with compatible peripheral equipment based on
your needs.

Customizable LED indicator

The default setting of this LED
LED status
Solid yellow
Off
Besides, you can also customize the LED to indicate other functions with the following LED status as you
preferred:
• The indicator is always off.
• The indicator is always on.
• The indicator is blinking.
To customize this LED, see "Use the software development kit (SDK)" on page 17.

Serial connectors

Used to connect an external modem, a serial printer, or other devices that use a serial connector.
To change the serial mode among RS232 (default), RS422, and RS485, do either of the following steps
based on the serial connector locations.
• For serial connectors 1-2, see "Change the Serial Port UART type" on page 45.
• For serial connectors 3-4, see "Use the software development kit (SDK)" on page 17.
