Active PA Speaker System
These instructions are intended for users with
basic knowledge of audio technology. Please
read the instructions carefully prior to operation
and keep them for later reference.
1 Applications
This speaker system of the WAVE series with
integrated mixing amplifier can be used for
versatile sound applications. Due to its compact
and lightweight design, the speaker system is
ideally suited for mobile applications, for ex­
ample. The speaker system is equipped with:
– a 2­way bass reflex system
– a microphone input
– a line level input for audio devices
– an MP3 player with TWS function
– a Bluetooth receiver
– a 5­band equalizer
2 Overview

• The product is suitable for indoor use only.
Protect it against dripping water, splash
water and high air humidity. The admissible
ambient temperature range is 0 – 40 °C.
• Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on
the product, e. g. a drinking glass.
• The heat generated inside the speaker sys­
tem will be dissipated via the cooling fins (6).
Never cover the cooling fins. Never position
the speaker system directly against a wall,
always make sure the distance is sufficient.
• Immediately disconnect the product from the
mains socket,

3.1 Conformity and approval

4 Operation

4.1 Setting up the speaker system
Place the speaker system on a solid surface
and align it towards the audience. Place the
tweeter at ear level, if possible.

Alternatively, place the speaker system via
the stand sleeve on its lower side on a standard
speaker stand with a tube diameter of 35 mm
(e. g. from the PAST series).
As an installation aid for fixed installations,
two M8 threaded holes each are available on
the upper side and the lower side.
4.2 Remote control
The MP3 player is supplied with power by
means of a 3 V button cell. If the remote control
is delivered with the battery inserted, remove
the protective film (used to prevent the battery
from discharging) from the battery support.
The remote control will then be ready for op­
eration. When pressing a button, always point
the remote control at the IR sensor located
behind the protective grille of the bass speaker.
Make sure that there are no obstacles between
the sensor and the remote control.
Replacing the battery
1) Push the latch of the battery holder to the
right (arrow 1 in figure below) and remove
the holder (arrow 2).

2) Remove the discharged battery and insert
the new battery (3 V button cell of type
CR 2025) with the positive pole facing up­
wards.
3) Push the holder back into the remote con­
trol.
Never put batteries in the household
waste. Always dispose of the batter­
ies in accordance with local regula­
tions.
4.3 Connection and operation
Before establishing or changing any connec­
tion, always switch off the speaker system and
the devices to be connected!
