Using the room unit itself, enter "Commisioning mode" (see User Levels section in "Users Operating and
Programming guide") and select "Operator section".
Use the following parameter lines to defi ne the setup of this room unit:

Th e following example illustrates applications available using the settings "Defi ned as" (operating line 40)
together with "Heating circuit assignment" (operating lines 42 to 48).
Existing heating circuits 1 and 2 are controlled centrally from room unit 1 for logistical reasons. Th e room tem-
perature sensor in room unit 1 is relevant to only heating circuit 1 since climatic conditions for heating circuit
2 may differ from heating circuit 1. Room unit 2 allows for separate temperature measurements and individual-
ly setting of heating circuit 2. However, operating the occupancy button of unit 1 will activate all heat circuits.

Perform the following to access the room unit parameters:
1. Press the occupancy button (> 3 seconds). Th e room unit switches to the service level. Th e fi rst parameter
is selected; the present value blinks.
2. Use the setting knob to set the required parameter.
3. Briefl y press the occupancy button. Th e next parameter is selected for setting.
4. Exit service level:
- After 8 seconds without activity, the room unit exits the service level automatically.
- Briefl y press the operating mode button.
