Access Codes

T h e re are several access codes that are used by your
phone and its SIM card. These codes help you pro t e c t
the phone against unauthorised use.
The access codes (except for the PUK and PUK2 codes)
can be changed using the Security Settings (5-3) menu
options. See page 94 for further details.
Phone Password
This security code can be used to avoid unauthorised
use of the phone. The security code 0000 is the factory
default setting but you are advised to change the
security code before you start using your phone. Keep
the new code secret and in a safe place, which is
separate from the phone.
If you key in an incorrect security code five times in
succession, the phone will not accept the correct code
for the next five minutes.
