Using Java, you can download Java programs to your PDA
phone during wireless Internet browsing, from a PC or
another compatible device through infrared or USB
connection.
In the Java home screen, a list of Java applications that
have been installed to your PDA phone displays.
Before downloading a Java program, you must select the
download mode from wireless, infrared or USB port.

Installing a Java Program

Note: Your phone must be turned on to use this function.
You can only install Java software installation files with
the extension .JAR.
1. In the Launcher mode, tap
Miscellaneous Application Launcher.
2. Select Java. A list of Java applications that have been
installed to your phone displays.
3. To select the download mode, tap Menu and then
Setting.
On the Setting screen, tap Download Mode.
If you want to view the memory status, tap About
Memory in the pop-up list.
4. Select a download mode:
• Download by Wireless- allows you to install a
program using the wireless. Enter the URL address
and tap Save.
• Download by Infrared- allows you to install a
program using the infrared.
• Download by USB- allows you to install a program
using the USB.
