INFORMATION CODES
When your washer malfunctions, you may see an information code on the display. If that happens, please
check this table and try the suggested solution before calling Customer Service.

CHECK
This code is displayed with an alarm sound if the water is not drained
after 30 minutes.
- Check if the drain hose is clogged by a foreign object.
- Press the Start/Pause button to resume the operation.
This code is displayed if the spin operation fails.
- Check if the laundry is pushed to one side.
- Check if the washer is installed evenly.
This code is displayed with an alarm sound if the water level is not
changed after 4 minutes.
This code is also displayed with an alarm sound if the water supply is not
completed after 60 minutes.
- Check if the tap water faucet has been opened, if tap water is
supplied, and if the tap water pipe is frozen.
- Check if the amount of supplied tap water is too little.
- Check if the fi lter of the drain hose connecting hole is clogged by a
foreign object.
- Press the Start/Pause button to resume the operation.
This code is displayed when the cover is opened.
- Check if the cover is opened.
- To resume the operation, open and close the cover.
- If you close the cover when the Child-Lock function is active, 'CL' is
displayed. To resume the operation, turn the power off and then on
again.
This code is displayed when the Child-Lock function is active.
- The Child-Lock function prevents children from falling into the wash
tub and drowning.
- If 30 seconds have passed after opening the cover when the Child-
Lock function is active, 'CL' is displayed and the washer does not
run. (If there was water in the washing tub, the water is automatically
drained.)
- To resume the operation, close the cover and turn the power off and
then on again.
- To cancel the Child-Lock function when 'CL' is not displayed, press
and hold both the Rinse and Spin buttons at the same time for at
least 3 seconds.
