    Location in the Rack The base IBM Cloud Pak for Data System consists of four main components (1G switch, 25G switch, four compute chassis) that are designed to be integrated in the same rack with PDUs. The recommended component placement is shown in the figure below.

    Install the enclosure on the slide rails Note: This unit weighs approximately 49lb (22kg). IBM recommends the use of an appropriate lifting device to position the chassis on the rails. Installing the System in a Rack Pull the inner slide rails out of the rack until they lock into place (1).
