Action
1.
Check the expiration date and the storage conditions of the microcuvettes.
2.
Measure the control/sample with a new cuvette.

Make sure that the control is properly mixed and that it has reached room tem-
perature. If the problem continues, contact the manufacturer of the control.

Check the microcuvette for air bubbles. Remeasure the control/sample with a
new microcuvette.
5.
Clean the optronic unit as instructed under Maintenance section.
6a. If a quality control test is to be performed, only use quality controls recom-
mended by HemoCue, see relevant package insert for more information.
6b. Check the expiration date and the storage conditions of the control. Repeat the
measurement with a new control/sample. If the problem continues, contact
the manufacturer of the control.
