Subsequently releasing the brake pedal will allow
you to move the vehicle freely, e.g. to push it or
tow it away.
Proceed as follows if you want the automatic
transmission to remain in neutral i, even if the
vehicle is switched off or the driver's door is
opened:
Depress the brake pedal and engage neutral

i when the vehicle is at a standstill.
Release the brake pedal.

Switch off the vehicle.
